		Having spent time playing in bands myself, I really do understand how sterile a lot of recordings can feel and the honestly that lack of vibe often comes from the way they were recorded.
The truth is though, that very few of the rock records that you loved growing up were made with everyone tracking seperately. The beautiful chaos and energy of a live show often has that magical energy and vibe lacking from a lot of recordings, so why not have everyone set up in the same room and play together?

I generally prefer to sort out the arrangements during pre-production and have everyone just cut loose in the studio and play without thinking too much about the material.
